Tina Pidgeon is the strategic leader for legal, regulatory, compliance, and policy initiatives across the company. She plays an instrumental role in GCI’s growth and development by guiding the company’s strategy and negotiations on business ventures leads a department that is responsible for the formulation and implementation of the company’s legal, regulatory, and advocacy efforts and manages all contract negotiations and dispute resolutions. Tina also oversees GCI’s compliance program, in accordance with the company’s commitment to honest, ethical, and lawful conduct. Tina previously served as GCI’s senior vice president, governmental affairs and senior counsel (2010-2011) and was vice president of federal regulatory affairs in Washington, D.C. Prior to joining the company in 2003, she practiced law with the firm Drinker Biddle and represented telecommunications companies including GCI before the FCC and state regulatory commissions. She is a member of Women in Cable Telecommunications, the Federal Communications Bar Association, and Anchorage Association of Women Lawyers. Tina received her law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law and her bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame.
